History
Sontex is the result of a management buy-out in 1989 of the “heat meters” division of Sonceboz S.A.
Two expansions phases have allowed to modernised the infrastructure to a high degree and extending our floor space to 4,000 m2. Practically unchanged since the company’s formation, its ownership structure guarantees high stability and willingness to invest in the future.
Accreditations
Accreditation as calibration laboratory for quantities of water
The Sontex calibration laboratory SCS 0071 has been accredited since 1996 by the Swiss Accreditation Service SAS to ISO/IEC standard 17025, with periodic monitoring (see accreditation certificate and SCS directory). The lab is equipped with several water testing stations from 15°C to 85°C for flows of 5 litres/hour to 200 cubic meters/hour with ANSI threaded connections from ¾” to 2” and DIN flange joints from DN 15 to 150, as well as temperature baths for temperature difference measurement between 5°C and 150°C with a temperature difference of at least 1 K T. The publication of trilingual measurement certificates is an important part of what is offered.
